“Having visited a number of kitchen shops on Wigmore street, I came across some reviews raving about Dulwich Kitchen Designs on mumsnet.
I did the drive to Dulwich, despite my house being in St. John’s Wood. I was welcomed and greeted by Svaja. Having shown her my architect drawings, we exchanged ideas and I was immediately impressed by the thoughtfulness and depth of ideas she had. She knew I valued storage and proposed a number of different ways to make unusable spaces usable, such as corners and unreachable areas such as top and bottom cupboards.
To be honest, initially I was dreading the whole project. However it proved to be remarkably seamless and stress-free: Svaja was both efficient and responsive – most importantly she was able to quickly grasp what I was after and proposed the most appropriate solutions, having built so many kitchens – small/compact and large – in her career. When we hit those inevitable road bumps in kitchen project, I was so appreciative that I had selected to work with Svaja on this project.
When I saw the final product in my new home, I could see the precision and effort dedicated to every aspect of the kitchen. For example, adjoining of the continuous granite surface was perfect and of the highest-quality craftsmanship; the positioning of the (many) plugs are perfect, and I could see Svaja’s hand in the final product.
Svaja was absolutely brilliant. Great customer-oriented attitude made her an absolute pleasure to work with. We communicated on email almost on a daily basis, and with a handful of visits, allowed me to make decisions quickly and efficiently. She was always available for me when I arrived, having booked the appointment in advance. She worked hard and maintained the highest level of professionalism.
